lovely simplish piano forward
a bit of strings (that start sawing <bluegrass term> a bit at the end),
kiddish a bit (and then some)
have you seen her dressed in blue?
have you seen her all in gold?

writtencasey. ’67, the awkward teen of rnr, eh? So much tosh! In my ‘limited’ experience, ‘la vie psychedelique’, in the cold light of morning, never quite fully delivered what it had vowed the night before. Their Satanic Maj is only as dreadful as many other album that year – though, being British, it seems that I have to allow Sarge Pepper (albeit begrudgingly for fear of accusation of High Treason!). Your lot – sorry, I’m assuming you are an American? How rude of me! – saved that annus horribilus with VU&N’s rarely surpassed debut: so, thank you for that! Mr. K. Richards, in his hugely readable biog, says of TSMR: “We’d run out of gas at this point/it was all a bit of flimflam.” Flimflam Indeed! Still, their best years were still down the line …
‘She’s A Rainbow’ though: pretty, real pretty! Thanks again, nickreeves.
