The clandestine clans

The plight of clandestine organization has always concerned me.

Why?

They appear craven in their need for spell books:

Much more they do accomplish with several dictionaries and love of reading…

If a noun can be said to have an existence independent of ourselves (or at least, an empirical reality [ meaning a potentially ‘objective reality’ ]);

Then, our adjective cannot be said to be much more than subjective speculation?

Umberto Eco. On Literature.

Elegant, short essays that somehow manage to read like lyrical poetry. Seemingly designed for regular folks, he doses crazy amounts of info into small amounts of words, and even includes a spoonful of humor.

Just freaking read it and let it work on you.
