Many… I suggest starting off with Dinosaur Jr (album Green Mind), Sonic Youth (album Washing Machine), everything put out by twin sisters Kim and Kelley Deal (the Breeders, R.Ring, the Kelley Deal 6000, Failure (album Fantastic Planet), Hum (album You’d Prefer an Astronaut), Autolux (album Future Perfect), and anything by Blinker the Star… just for starters.

      1. I love the dissonance in his voice and how he plays the guitar using simple and very basic chords. I am partial to Engine when it was played live where he adds a saw being bowed, but my my favorite is My Dream Girl Don’t Exist. Never recorded in the studio, but found as a B side on a live EP.
